Emergency Relief EffortsThere are many nonprofit organizations in the program that are doing relief work either directly in regions that are affected by recent natural disasters or for the local communities and families. One of the great benefits of workplace giving to nonprofit organizations is that the funds are generally "unrestricted" which means that they can use the money in situations exactly like this; when the need is greatest and immediate. If you would like to donate to a nonprofit organization specifically to help offset the costs of the amazing relief and disaster recovery services they are providing simply write a reference to the relief effort in the Dedication line of your pledge form, for example, "Samoa Tsunami Relief". All nonprofits that are in the program have been vetted against eligibility requirements set in code and they will only be listed on this page once their relief efforts have been confirmed. At any time you can visit any of the nonprofits by going to our Nonprofits Page and searching either by service category (including emergency and disaster relief or international relief and development) or alphabetically. Thank you for thinking of those in need during this time. This page will be updated as more nonprofit organizations let me know what they are doing toward different efforts. Tornado Relief We have compiled a list of nonprofits doing work in the area. As more information comes in we will continue to update this list. Click on the links below to go directly to their websites to find out more. Thank you! Many of these nonprofits missions are to provide relief when disaster strikes. A great way to support them year round is through payroll deduction so that they have the resources and are prepared for when that moment comes. During the Annual Giving Drive if you would like to donate in honor of the tornado relief you can put it in the dedication portion of your pledge form or online.
