The 2009 Charitable Campaign will be held Sept. 29 - Nov. 20, 2009.
We are looking for enthusiastic employees who would like to volunteer to be a coordinator for their work site, division or department or to help with the exciting new Nonprofit Expo. This program is for employees by employees! Many of the nonprofit organizations list King County Employees as major supporters of the critical work they do. This great impact on our community and world would not be possible without your help. Check in with your supervisor and then download the volunteer registration form. Check out the coordinator page for more information or send an e-mail to the Employee Giving Program. You will receive more information in the next couple of weeks. The Employee Giving Program is an approved workplace activity. This is a great way to give back to the community, meet your co-workers, and have lots of fun!
The King County Employee Giving Program is seeking volunteers to be a part of a series of upcoming focus groups to explore how we can make the program work even better for you.
We are looking for employees in three different categories: 1) Those who currently participate in the program through payroll deduction or time donation 2) Those who have considered participating through payroll deduction or time donation but have not yet done so and 3) Those who used to participate through payroll deduction or time donation but do not any longer.
Please contact Junelle Schrum at 206-263-9405 for more information.
This year's application process attracted over 750 nonprofit organizations. The new list of nonprofits will be up on the website in Early September. If you don't see your favorite nonprofit email Junelle Schrum so that they may be added to the contact list for 2010.
This is an opportunity to celebrate the amazing efforts of everyone that helps make the campaign successful and the profound rewards that it brings. The 2008 Annual Celebration held at the Union Station was a huge success with over 100 employees and nonprofit organizations in attendance. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us!
