King County, City of Seattle and City of Spokane Sign Ethics Agreement

The King County Board of Ethics, the Seattle Ethics and Elections Commission and the City of Spokane are partnering to formalize the similar principles, values, and experiences in their respective ethics codes.

Representatives of each agency joined elected officials and others to sign a Multi-Lateral Statement of Principles (84KB PDF) articulating and celebrating the importance of ethics in public service on June 4, 2007, at Kane Hall, University of Washington. The document also recognizes the commitment of the three governments to build and maintain the public's trust and respect through the responsible and ethical behavior of their employees.
