The King County Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provides early resolution of workplace conflicts through a variety of dispute resolution processes.

ADR provides a fast, cost-effective way to:

  • resolve problems early between individuals and within work groups
  • develop conflict resolution skills within your organization
  • facilitate cooperation between unions and management
  • mediate grievances
  • avoid litigation

Inter-Local Conflict Resolution Group (ILCRG)

A program within the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Inter-Local Conflict Resolution Group (ILCRG) is a consortium of government agencies, labor unions, and volunteer professionals that provides mediation and other forms of dispute resolution services to its members at no cost.

Who is eligible for ADR services?

  • King County employees with work-related conflicts
  • Labor unions (requires joining ILCRG)
  • Public sector agencies and their employees (requires joining ILCRG)

How to join ILCRG

 

Who is not eligible for ADR services?

  • Private disputes such as family law, parenting plans, or court-ordered mediations
  • Neighbor-to-neighbor conflicts
