All King County employees receive a photo identification card that works as a keycard to access facilities as needed. Employees who are eligible for benefits receive a keycard called a FlexPass, which allows them to ride free on the Metro Transit, Sound Transit , Pierce Transit

bus systems, and The Sounder Train

These bus passes are not transferable—they’re for use by eligible employees only—and must be returned when the holder leaves employment with King County.
Employees who live on the west side of Puget Sound and commute by bus on Kitsap Transit and/or on the ferry can purchase a Kitsap Transit/Washington State Ferries bus pass at a reduced price. Visit the Kitsap Transit/WSF page for more information.
