This training is being conducted in a blended format.  Participants will complete the video/lecture portion online (approximately 4 hours) and will see an instructor for a 90-minute hands-on session after completing the online component.  Once you enroll in one of the hands-on sessions, we will send you a link for the on-line portion of this training, which must be completed prior to the hands-on.  The e-mail will come from hsiplatform.com.  You may find it in your "Other" in-box, rather than the "Focused" in-box.   The online training takes about 4 hours and needs to be completed prior to your hands-on session.

Have you already been taught to "Lift with your legs and keep your back straight?" Isn't that enough? No! A large percentage of potentially injurious situations have nothing to do with bending your knees, and telling a person to keep their back straight often times teaches them to squat perfectly vertically. Not many situations in the workplace require or allow a perfectly straight posture and most require that a person lean forward in some manner.

The Back to Basics system shows employees how to use the proper body mechanics to avoid injury, rather than simply telling them what to do to avoid it. It outshines others by putting concepts into laymen's terms, and providing a level of physical interactivity heretofore unseen in an injury prevention video. Employees will learn immediately usable techniques which result in safer and more comfortable ways to do their jobs.
