Welcome to the The Disability Services web page. Our Disability Services Specialists provide job accommodations consulting, job placement for medically separated King County employees, technical support, training, and program development assistance.
Disability Services will also coordinate transitional duty assignments for employees with temporary medical restrictions when arrangements to do so have been coordinated with County departments requesting this service.
Recognition for the program has included a 2003 Regional Leadership Award from the County Executive's Office, a 2004 feature article by Virginia Commonwealth University, and the 2005 Rehabilitation Partner of the Year Award from CIGNA Insurance.
