Chart showing the rising trends in King County's health care costsEmployers around the nation, both public and private, have seen their health care costs skyrocket.  In the last few years, those costs have surged at a double-digit annual clip, far outstripping the rate of inflation. The task force recommendations formed the basis of King County’s Health Reform Initiative.
