Partnership with Labor

With 85 percent of employees represented by 92 bargaining units, a partnership with labor has been essential to the Health Reform Initiative.

Through the Joint Labor Management Insurance Committee, the county has worked cooperatively with labor on the concept of the Health Reform Initiative and key decisions during its implementation and operation.
