Bicycling Resources  First time biker? Never fear – these local resources are here to help you get pedaling. Community resources for bike maintenance:REI offers classes for bike care and maintenance. Some are free and some have a fee. For a class near you, go to www.rei.com and search for a store by zip code. Cascade Bike Club offers several resources for commuters and recreational bikers including: + Classes covering topics like how to ride safely in traffic, how to fix a flat, how to load your bike on a bus and how to transport work clothes and arrive ready for your first meeting.
+ Routes - check out online message boards to post information and questions about a wide variety of topics, including selecting the best route from home to work and back.
+ Events - join Cascade for events for commuters and recreational riders including the Group Health Commute Challenge, Seattle to Portland, and the Summer Bike League.
