Enhanced Member Outreach is extra support for you when you need it the most. An EMO nurse will call you to:

  • Discuss the details of an upcoming hospital stay. You’ll know more about what to expect during your stay and after you get home.

  • Answer questions and provide guidance before or after a surgical procedure.

  • Direct you to appropriate care or disease management programs. This ensures that you have access to the most up-to-date treatment available for your specific condition(s).

  • Help you stick to your physician’s treatment plan.

  • Address emerging health issues early and effectively.

  • Provide coaching and education about your benefit plan, available programs and tools.
