Eat Smart: Report Card

The Eat Smart report card provides a snapshot of how King County is doing for specific health indicators and compares King County to related Healthy People 2010 targets.

The data provided in the report card is derived from the annual Wellness Assessment and includes information for both employees and spouses/domestic partners.

 The Dietary guidelines for Americans recommend that Americans choose a variety of fruits daily.

The good news is that among individuals who responded, daily consumption of grain . . . has increased.

Nearly all Americans eat too much salt (sodium). Most of the salt comes from eating process foods (75%), or adding salt to food while cooking and using the salt shaker at meals (50% - 10%).
