The Choose Well lunch and learn series will help answer these questions and more so that you can be in the drivers’ seat when it comes to your health care.

He has done in depth research on the doctor patient relationship and has been quoted in national publications like the New York Times about how patients can make the most of the limited time they have with their doctors.

    Diane Stollenwerk is the Director of Communication and Development for the Puget Sound Health Alliance. The Alliance works to improve the quality of health care available in the Puget Sound region. It’s "community checkup" report tracks whether local residents are being treated according to best practices nationally in such critical areas as diabetes, asthma and heart conditions. The report is free and through it you can find out which hospitals, clinics and medical practices are following best practices.

He will discuss some of the latest best therapies that medicine has to offer, as well talk about ways people can get the most out of the health care system.     Dr. Levine will discuss several health challenges adults face as they age and strategies to handle them.  He will discuss some of the latest best therapies that medicine has to offer, as well talk about ways people can get the most out of the health care system.  He will also be open to hearing about challenges faced by members of the audience and responding to them.  Topics may include low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, weight management, preventing heart attacks, and communicating with your doctor both for yourself and if you are looking after your parents.
