  • Where to get the best possible health care in the region.
    Use the Puget Sound Health Alliance’s Community Check-up Report to see which clinics follow procedures that medical evidence shows are most effective.  Use Aetna’s Hospital Comparison tool to compare hospitals on quality indictors like complications and mortality, and see which hospitals have the lowest rate of hospital acquired infections.
  • How to save thousands of dollars for a medical procedure.
    Use Aenta’s Cost of Care tool to discover how the cost for a medical procedure can vary thousands of dollars depending on which medical facility you choose.
  • What medical evidence shows is the best course of treatment for certain health conditions.
    Use the Community Check-Up Report to find easy to understand information about what medical evidence shows is the best course of treatment for certain health conditions.
  • You will also have access to credible information about health conditions tailored to your needs.
    Use Aetna’s SmartSource to learn the symptoms, treatments and health effects of specific conditions.
  • And you can communicate better with your doctor.
    Group Health members can e-mail their doctors and get a response within 24 hours.  A shared medical record allows members to see after visit summaries, lab results and other information usually only available in a doctor’s paper file.
