Here’s how to get vaccinated for the H1N1 flu:

  • At your health care provider’s office or local pharmacy. Check with the Flu Hotline at 877-903-KING (5464) or Public Health's Web site to find out where to get H1N1 vaccine when becomes available. You can also call your health care provider to see if they will have the H1N1 vaccine once it is available.  Vaccine is likely to be available for priority groups mid-October.  The Centers for Disease Control  have prioritized the first vaccines for the following groups.  Later in the season, vaccine will be available to anyone who wants it:

    • Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
    • Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
    • All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
