Time is growing short to begin your individual action plan
To those who have already earned gold, or who have started their individual action plan and are well on their way to earning gold, congratulations on your efforts to improve your health while earning gold! Those of you who completed the wellness assessment by March 4 but have not yet begun your individual action plan it’s not too late to get started. You still have until Apr. 23 to begin your first week of activity with the online WebMD individual action plan, which will give you just enough time to meet the July 1 deadline for earning gold. But, if you wait until Apr.23 to begin your first week, you must make a minimum of three entries during each of the 10 weeks remaining before July 1. If you try to make entries for a week that has ended, those entries will be credited to the current week, not to the previous week. To begin your WebMD online individual action plan, log in to www.kchealthyincentives.com and click on the “Get Started” button under “Your Next Step.” Be sure you read and understand the instructions on the Healthy Incentives Road to Gold Rewards Page. If you need help understanding the instructions or want help with your individual action plan, contact Benefits, Payroll and Retirement Operations at 206-684-1556 or kc.benefits@kingcounty.gov. If you prefer keeping track of your activities on paper, you can request a paper nutrition or exercise individual action plan from WebMD at 1-866-584-6813. But, you must request your paper individual action plan no later than Friday, Apr. 22. Other options - You may still be able to enroll in the Weight Watchers at Work® program or the Free & Clear Quit for Life® tobacco cessation program as your individual action plan. Just be sure there is enough time to complete one of these programs by July 1 to earn gold. Learn more about each of these programs at the County’s Healthy IncentivesSM website.
- If you missed the March 4 deadline for completing the wellness assessment, you can still complete it by July 1 to earn silver. Just log in to at www.kchealthyincentives.com and click on the “Get Started” button under “Your Next Step.” To request a paper wellness assessment, contact Benefits, Payroll and Retirement Operations at 206-684-1556 or kc.benefits@kingcounty.gov.
