You can register between Jan. 1 and Jan. 29, 2012. Sorry! No late registrations are allowed.
The 2012 Live Well Challenge officially begins on Jan. 30 and ends on April 8, 2012.
A team consists of 2-10 members including one team captain. Team members can include any combination of King County employees and spouses/domestic partners (spartner). Only employees and spartners who are covered by King County medical benefits are eligible to play.
Participants may withdraw from a team before the event, but not after registration closes (Jan. 29, 2012). Exceptions to the rule will be made only in rare situations (e.g. serious illness, leaving employment with King County, or similar circumstances). In such situations, the team member must notify the Live Well Challenge staff immediately. Note: If you selected the Live Well Challenge as an individual action plan, withdrawing from a team can impact your out-of-pocket expense level.
No changes can be made to team names or team roster after Jan. 29, 2012.
Individuals may be a member of only one team.
Weeks run from Monday to Sunday. For example, Week 1 is Jan. 30 - Feb. 5, 2012.
Participants must record a previous week's activity online by Sunday at 11:59 pm on the date specified in the event timelines for the activity to be counted toward the team point total and to be eligible for weekly awards. For example, participants must record their activity by Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 for Week 1. Particpants can go back up to three weeks and make activity entries. See event timelines for more detail.
