Hello coordinators and thank you for your work with the Healthy Workplace Funding Initiative.  These pages have been created for you to reference while you work through the program.  If you find you need information not listed on these pages, please let us know. 

On this site you’ll find the information, resources and tools you need to engage employees in the decision making, submit an application, procure the goods or services approved for purchase and submit program feedback.

Set September 2, 2008 as your target date for application submission.

HWFI purchases are intended to benefit employees throughout the year. By setting an early target, you'll have enough time to procure items and make purchases available to employees in the calendar year. We encourage you to submit applications for all items for which you would like approval — this will give you flexibility to use your entire budget amount once you begin making purchases.
Thank you again for your work as a HWF coordinator.  We know this program takes a dedicated employee volunteer to be successful. We appreciate your help in making the program a success and look forward to working with you.

Please note that Dave Lawson is no longer with King County. Questions related to HWFI applications should be routed to Caroline Hughes, 206-263-6085, or emailed to hwfi@kingcounty.gov.
