Career Resource Center

The Career Resource Center staff welcomes you to our office and website.  We offer comprehensive services in career development and provide tools, resources, coaching to assist employees in achieving their professional goals; and is a free community resource open to everyone.

Career development is an ongoing process to identify strengths and abilities and strategically develop short and long-term career goals.  Whether employees are seeking job enrichment, professional development, mobility or advancement within King County, the Career Center staff is committed to assisting employees to reach their potential.

A successful career starts with the right planning and preparation. The Career Resource Center is the place to start when you are looking for your first job, a better job - or a whole new career. It's also the place to find information on training and education.

The Career Resource Center offers job seekers a place to receive assistance preparing a resume, cover letter, letter of interest and honing your interview skills; a place to explore training, education and employment opportunities such as Community and Technical College resources, professional training, job postings, workshops and job fairs.

NOTE: If you store data on a floppy disk, we encourage you to transfer your information to a CD or memory sticks. This will reduce the threat of virus' attaching the computers.

CD's and memory sticks are not supplied at the Career Resource Center therefore you will need to bring your a CD or memory stick with you to save information, such as resume, employment application, etc..
