Career Support Services Program Overview

The Career Support Services Section, under the direction of King County’s Executive Office, is dedicated to the development and implementation of innovative programs and services that promote life long career management skills for employees. By cultivating multi-faceted internal and external partnerships, our staff is committed to providing resources for employees to explore diverse career opportunities. It is our mission to provide exceptional career services to all King County employees.

King County values its employees and the quality service each provides. Through the Referral and Placement Program (formerly layoff/recall), King County is committed to providing layoff employees a variety of services that will assist through the layoff and/or placement process.
