February 12 Special Election

Map: Ballot drop boxes and vans

Return your ballot through the U.S. Postal Service using a first class stamp or at a ballot drop box or ballot drop-off van (temporary collection point). The deadline to return ballots is Election Day; ballots must be postmarked by Election Day or in a ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m.

There are 7 permanent ballot drop boxes and temporary collection points (vans) located around King County; use one of these collection points to return your ballot without needing a stamp. Dates and Times

Ballot drop boxes are open 24-hours a day beginning Thursday, January 24. Ballot drop boxes close on Election Day, February 12, at 8:00 p.m. By law, ballots cannot be accepted at ballot drop boxes after 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

For the 2013 February special election, a ballot drop-off van will be available at three temporary location points:

  • On February 9 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and
  • On Election Day, February 12, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
