King County Elections develops new voter information tools for mobile devicesKing County residents are used to checking traffic, getting directions and doing a variety of other things via their mobile device. Now King County Elections has new mobile device tools just in time for the general election. King County’s 1.16 million registered voters can find the nearest ballot drop box, check the “countdown clock” to see how much time they have left to return their ballots, and get results on election night, all from their smart phone, internet tablet or other mobile device.
“We recently conducted a survey for King County voters to identify the type of information they would like to access with their mobile devices. Applying what we have learned, we have developed a website with information voters want in time for this current election,” said Sherril Huff, King County Elections Director.
Currently available in a beta test version, go to https://electionsdata.kingcounty.gov to try out the new Elections on-the-go information tools.
