King County Elections media office opens

King County Elections has established a media hotline to assist reporters and other media throughout Election Day. Staff will be available to assist with information and requests for interviews with key election officials, including Elections Director Sherril Huff.

Call 206-205-5115 to schedule interviews with Huff, for directions to busy poll sites, or for historic turnout data. For tours of election headquarters where 139, 000 mail ballots received to date are being processed and counted please call the media hotline.

All visitors must be properly credentialed at the check-in desk located near the main entrance. To expedite the check-in process, visitors should call the media hotline at 205-5115 before your arrival with the names of anyone who may be visiting and a badge will be ready when you arrive.
