Temporary Election Worker

The Elections Office is recruiting to create a roster of skilled temporary employees, who will work on a seasonal, temporary basis. Employees will perform a variety of duties necessary to support the administration of special, primary and general public elections in King County. Specific job functions will vary based on the needs of the Elections Office. Hours and days of work vary by work group. Training is provided to perform assigned work.

Job Type: Term Limited Temporary, Full Time, 40 hrs

Description: King County Elections is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist-Journey to provide second level support for all IT service requests at a department level. This Term Limited Temp position will provide a key role in several important projects for King County Elections (including equipment replacement, deployment and implementation of Office365 and Lync).

As a member of the primary onsite support team, this position will address all IT incidents, service requests, and technical support issues for the Elections Department. This position will address requests via telephone, email, web, or in person.

This position is open to all qualified candidates and is represented by Local 17: International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers - Information Technology.
