Team Soapbox - Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year Winner

Team Soapbox Logo
Founded in 2001 by Christine Stepherson and Janda Black, Team Soapbox is a leader in innovative communication campaigns that garner attention for the issues their clients support. Team Soapbox takes pride in being a nimble organization, with seasoned communications experts skilled in public relations, media relations, marketing communications, public affairs, and branding. From its humble beginnings in a small loft in South Lake Union, Team Soapbox has grown to a team of seven employees and a new office location in Belltown. Team Soapbox’s first client, the Pike Place Market Foundation, laid the groundwork for the next 15 years of working with incredible local organizations with inspiring missions. Soapbox’s day-to-day work is about motivating people to change thinking and take action, whether that’s drafting strategic messaging to inspire donors to support a capital campaign for low-income housing, or encouraging legislators to invest in early learning initiatives. Team Soapbox provides a platform to help people understand the big picture around community issues and to amplify their voice.
