Pct4Precinct 4 is responsible for law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of: West Hill (Skyway), North Highline (White Center & Boulevard Park), Vashon Island and Kent/Federal Way. The West Precinct also includes the contract cities of Burien and SeaTac. The northern boundary is the City of Seattle, while Normandy Park, Des Moines and Federal Way form the southwestern boundary. Renton, Tukwila, Kent and Auburn make up the southeastern boundary. The southern boundary extends to the Pierce County line. 

Precinct 4 has two main offices located in the contract cities of Burien and SeaTac. The West Precinct Commander, SeaTac Police Department and staff are located at SeaTac City Hall. The Burien Police Department, King County Sheriff's Office commissioned personnel and staff are located at the Burien Station.

Precinct 4 provides services at four community storefronts: Vashon, West Hill (Skyway), White Center and Greenbridge (formerly Park Lake Homes). The Greenbridge storefront is staffed by a King County Sheriff's Office deputy under contract with the King County Housing Authority. The storefronts may not maintain regular business hours and may not always be staffed.

Services

Concealed Pistol License & Fingerprinting Services

Concealed pistol license (originals and renewals) and fingerprint services are offered at Burien and SeaTac by appointment only or at the King County Courthouse on a walk-in basis. More information about services at the King County Courthouse may be obtained by calling the King County Sheriff's Office Records Unit at 206-263-2626.

Please note that fees for permit or fingerprint services at Burien or SeaTac must be paid by personal check or money order only, we cannot accept cash.

Filing Accident Reports

Washington State Accident Report forms are available outside the front door of the Burien Station at any time or at the SeaTac Police Department during business hours. Forms should be completed by anyone involved in an accident that was not investigated by a deputy and that resulted in damages more than $1,000. This form should be fully completed and mailed to the Washington State Patrol at the address listed on the form. 

Obtaining Police Records

Copies of police records and accident reports are not available at the Burien or SeaTac locations. For information on how to obtain copies of police records and accident reports, contact the KCSO Records Unit at 206-263-2626.

Community Room

The Burien Station has a 50-person capacity community room available for use by the public. Call 206-477-2200 for inquiries and reservations.
