Search For-Hire Driver Licenses and Permits

Enter a for-hire driver license or permit number to see if it is active, if it has Wheelchair Accessible Taxi (WAT) certification, and what the expiration date is. If the number has expired or does not exist, no results will show.

Driver information is updated daily.

Is my TNC for-hire permit ready?

Your TNC will tell you the status of your application throughout the process. King County does not provide the application status to individuals.

What if I received a violation notice or citation?

Information about King County violation notices is lower on this page. The Port of Seattle external link may also issue citations to for-hire drivers.
