Copy and Service Fees
For oversize or other special format copies, the King County Archives will provide you with an estimate of costs before an order is placed.
Archivists will determine how original records may be copied due to age and fragility. For more information on accessing archival records, please see Researching Archival Records.
Method of payment
Payment may be made by personal check, cashiers check, money order, cash (in-person only), or credit/debit card (in person or by phone; processor adds $1.49 fee). Checks should be made payable to the King County Treasury. Please include a return address on all correspondence.
Ordering copiesThe Archives can take requests for copies or scans of documents by email, by phone, or in person. If you have any questions, please contact us.
