Charges Filed in Robbery Attempt/Shooting on Beacon Hill: Charges have been filed against two defendants who are accused in a robbery attempt during which a man was shot in the leg on February 24 in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. The defendants, Seth Tapaka, 18, and Najee Clark, 17, are each charged with Assault in the First Degree. Clark, who is charged as an adult, is accused of shooting the victim during the robbery attempt. The defendants ran from the scene and allegedly fled in a car driven by Tapaka. The defendants are also charged with Robbery in the First Degree for an earlier robbery at gun point on February 24 where a man was allegedly robbed of his cell phone, debit card, and cash. Both defendants remain in custody with bail set at $250,000. Arraignment is scheduled for March 12 at 9 a.m. in courtroom GA of the Maleng Regional Justice Center.
