Charges Filed in Gas Station Stabbing: Two men have been charged in connection with a brutal stabbing and robbery of a gas-station clerk in Georgetown on January 1. The defendants, Craig Anthony Jackson, 58, and Harold Eugene Lang, 47, are each charged with Assault in the First Degree and Robbery in the First Degree. Each charge includes a deadly weapon sentencing enhancement. Jackson allegedly jumped over the counter and began stabbing the 65-year-old victim, Kashmir Sangha. The victim suffered stab wounds to his head, face, chest, back and both eyes and is now permanently blind. Lang allegedly ripped the cash drawer from the cash register before both men fled. The defendants remain in jail with bail set at $1 million for Jackson and $500,000 for Lang. They will be arraigned on January 26 at 8:30 a.m. in courtroom 1201 of the King County Courthouse.
