Arraignment for Man Charged in Fatal Shooting: A Seattle man accused in a fatal shooting on April 24 in Seattle's Leschi neighborhood was arraigned this morning and entered a not guilty plea to charges of Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the First Degree. The defendant, Lorenzo Pratt, 25, is accused in the murder of 20-year-old Deszuan Alfonso Smallwood. The defendant was arrested in Portland in June on a warrant for an unrelated gun offense that occurred several days before the murder. Pratt remains in jail with bail set at $1.5 million. A case setting hearing is scheduled for August 21 at 1 p.m. in courtroom 1201 of the King County Courthouse.
