Keep final plans and permits displayed on-site!

Permits and final approved plans for both building and land use permits must be displayed prominently on construction and development sites.

Maintaining these records on-site is the responsibility of the applicant and/or contractor. While these requirements have long been in place, the potential for a Green River flood event makes it more important than ever to have the appropriate documentation readily available.

During a declared flood disaster resulting in evacuation of the Permitting Department offices in Snoqualmie, Permitting Department field inspectors may be displaced and working from home or another secondary work location, and will rely on the final documentation kept on-site to keep the inspection phase moving forward.

For additional information, please contact Assistant Director for permitting Jim Chan at 206-477-0385 or jim.chan@kingcounty.gov, or Randy Sandin at 206-477-0378 or randy.sandin@kingcounty.gov.
