King County Elections has released initial, unofficial results for the two recounts conducted today: Auburn City Council Position Number 6 and SeaTac Proposition 1.

King County recount results will be final tomorrow
King County Elections has finished work today on the manual recounts for SeaTac Proposition No. 1 and Auburn City Council Position No. 6, but the data entry required to post results will not be completed until tomorrow. Certified results will be issued tomorrow by 4:30 p.m. after the Canvassing Board meeting.

King County Elections to issue two results reports today
As of this morning, King County Elections had received about 517,000 ballots for the November 5, General Election, with more than 100,000 arriving in today’s mail. The Elections Department will issue a first set of results at 4:30 p.m. as planned, along with a second set of results at 8:30 p.m.

Voters face election day deadline today
With the general election counting down the hours, voters have until 8 p.m. to return their ballots to a drop box, scheduled drop van or accessible voting center. Mailed ballots must be postmarked today, general election day.
