Explore opportunities to do business with King County’s Wastewater Treatment Division at a contractor forum targeted to firms and individuals that provide goods or services to support wastewater system construction and operations.
The event is set for Thursday, April 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the King County Airport, 7299 Perimeter Road in Seattle.
Over the next two years, WTD plans to invest over $400 million in major capital improvements to ensure the regional sewer system keeps pace with growth and continues meeting regulatory requirements.
Forum attendees will be able to meet project managers and contract specialists and learn about bid opportunities on a variety of programs and projects, including the West Point Treatment Plant Restoration, West Point Oxygen Generation and Dissolution Project, and the Georgetown Wet Weather Treatment Station.
The contractor forum is also an excellent venue for networking between prime and subcontractors, and construction companies attending the event.
For questions about the forum, please contact Stan Hummel, P.E. at 206-263-9457 or Stan.Hummel@kingcounty.gov. Additional information about WTD’s major capital program is available online.
