World Water Day Celebration, Saturday, Mar. 21, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (All ages welcome)
Celebrate the human connection to water both around the globe and locally, and learn what we can do to protect the waters of Puget Sound. There will be activities for all ages including art projects, outdoor exploration, science experiments and tours of Brightwater. Pre-register!
Amorous Amphibians Night Hike, Friday, April. 3, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Age 6 and up)
Participants will learn about native frogs, their calls and habits in a fun indoor presentation and then head outdoors at dusk to hunt for breeding frogs, toads, salamanders, newts and their eggs in our frog-filled wetland! Pre-register!
Dahlias 101, Saturday, April. 11, 10 a.m. to noon (Age 14 and up)
Spring is the perfect time to learn the secrets of growing beautiful dahlias that will make your home garden pop with color through the Fall. Join three local award-winning, expert dahlia growers as they walk us through the different aspects of growing dahlias—from soil health to planting and pruning. Pre-register
