Learn more about community involvement with CitySoil farm by participating in a BioChair demonstration or network with King County partners. Also get a chance to view the new aerosol public art project created by a local youth group.

Activities for the whole family include making herbal sachets, saving seeds and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.

The Potluck and community celebration will take place on Oct. 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the South Treatment Plant, 1200 Monster Road S.W., Renton.

CitySoil Farm is a sustainable education partnership between King County’s Wastewater Treatment Division and Seattle University focused on making a difference for students and community members.

The farm provides education and food to the community while demonstrating creative land sharing and resource recycling. The farm acts as a work site for university students, and a community site for food education and more.
