Brightwater Center’s ‘Ecotober’ celebration begins Oct. 25

Fall begins at Brightwater Center with “Ecotober,” a month-long sustainability series with events that highlight fun and learning for the whole family.

Enjoy activities for all ages including hands-on nature art projects, composting and recycling activities, a Halloween costume exchange event, and a live bluegrass band. 

The Ecotober celebration takes place on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brightwater Center, 22505 State Route 9 S.E. in Woodinville.

“Ecotober” is sponsored by King County Wastewater Treatment Division, IslandWood, and Bothell Cool. Events are free and children accompanied by an adult are welcome.
