• The King County Jail is the largest county jail in the state of Washington, housing approximately 2,500 inmates daily.
  
  
• DAJD works closely with the King County Sheriff's Office, Washington State Patrol, Seattle Police Department and 37 other law enforcement agencies within King County, and has contracts or working relationships with Seattle-King County Department of Public Health, the courts, cities, health organizations, and other stakeholders.
  
  
• Corrections Officers represent the excellent DAJD organization day in and day out by providing safety and security to inmates, DAJD staff and the community.
  
  
• The DAJD Honor Guard has represented King County internationally and marched in numerous parades.
