How do I post bail?

• Bring cash, cashier’s check or money order to the reception window at the King County Correctional Facility (KCCF) in Seattle or Regional Justice Center (RJC) in Kent.  Money orders or Cashier checks must be made out to King County Dept of Adult & Juvenile Detention.  Money orders posted after 4:00 PM hours or on the weekends will be verified prior to processing which may result in a delay of the release.
  
  
• Local bail bond agencies, licensed under state law, may post bail or bond from anywhere in the United States.
  
  
• Cashier’s checks or money orders require the following information: 

              Pay to:  King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention
              Senders name and address
              Inmate Name and B/A number (found on Jail Inmate Lookup Service)

NOTE: The KCCF and RJC are closed to the public (including bail bond agencies) from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
