There are now several options for placing funds in an adult inmate's account:

  • Internet Deposits

Using the internet and your credit card, you may deposit funds into an inmate's account for as little as $2.95.

Please be advised that on 12/04/15 DAJD received the following information from Access Corrections

The Our Merchant Service provider used by Access Corrections recently changed the merchant classification code (MCC) for inmate deposits.  The new MCC code assigned is being recognized by credit card issuers as a cash advance transaction, resulting in a transaction fee by some card issuers.  DAJD and Access Corrections have no control over this MCC code change or the fees charged by card issuers.  Access Corrections does not receive any part of the fees card issuers are charging.  The new MCC code may result in declined transactions with bank debit cards and pre-paid cards that were previously used without any issue when making a deposit. This is because card issuers can decline transactions based on MCC code alone.

In an effort to educate consumers not aware of these possible fees, the Access Corrections Customer Service Agents and website and kiosk will notify consumers of the potential fees prior to finalizing transactions.

If you are an Access Corrections customer, please contact John Shoemake, Access Corrections Business Manager at (314) 301-3332.

  • Telephone Deposits

Using a toll free phone number and your credit card, you may deposit funds into an inmate's account for as little as $3.95. Just call 866-345-1884.

  • Money orders or cashier’s checks

Money orders or cashier's checks may be added to an inmate’s account by US mail. Refer to contacting an inmate by mail or phone for the mailing address.

Guidelines for money orders & cashiers checks:

  • Do not send cash or personal checks.
  • You must include the inmate’s name and B/A number. You can use the inmate lookup service to locate the inmate's B/A number (book of arrest number).
  • If possible, include your name and your return address.
  • Allow 10 business days for posting on all money orders and cashier's checks of $50 or more.
  • Cash Deposits

Cash will now be accepted only at the Kiosks located in the visiting area at the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC) and the front lobby of the King County Correctional Facility (KCCF). Detailed information is available at 866-345-1884.  DAJD does not assume responsibility for kiosk deposits.
