Superior Court Performance
Welcome to the King County Superior Court Performance Measurement Webpage!
In 2007, the court began using a newly developed national set of core measures, called CourTools, for reporting court performance. This set of measures, developed by the National Center for State Courts, provides a comprehensive overview of how the court is performing. We hope that the information provided on these pages will be useful in understanding the operation of the court.

Superior Court Strategic Agenda
On March 24, 2009, the Superior Court judges approved a Strategic Plan for Superior Court. The plan, called the 'Superior Court Strategic Agenda' includes eight “strategic issues,” and each issue has one associated goal, plus a set of implementation strategies. Because plan adoption has occurred so recently, development of appropriate measures for each goal will occur in the months ahead. To the extent possible, the court will use CourTools measures to evaluate implementation of the plan.
