DIGITAL RECORDED COURTROOM

Judge Rietschel operates in an FTR Gold courtroom, which digitally records proceedings.  There is no court reporter.  The following web link from the Clerk's Office provides the information you will need to obtain a copy of the CD for your hearing and transcriber information:  http://www.kingcounty.gov/courts/Clerk/Records/CopiesofHearings/Ordering%20CDs.aspx.

PLEASE USE E-MAIL FOR SCHEDULING, IF POSSIBLE.  E-mail must include the following:

• Case name and cause number
• Names and phone numbers of all counsel
• Type of hearing and date(s) requested

When sending correspondence to the court, please make certain to include a courtesy copy to the opposing party in order to comply with the rule prohibiting ex parte contact. (Review the court's email policy.)

E-mail inquiries generally receive more prompt responses than phone messages.

Pleadings exceeding 1 ½” should be bound and submitted in a three ring binder.
