Issaquah Courthouse is part of the King County District Court, East Division. It is located at 5415 220th Avenue S.E., Issaquah Washington. On Monday, June 14, 1999, the court opened for business in the newly constructed facility.

Planning for a suitable courthouse for the Issaquah Courthouse began in late 1992; however, it was not until 1998 that the project was finally approved and funded. Construction on the above building began in September, 1998, and the court took occupancy of the new building in mid-June, 1999.

Located along the banks of the Issaquah Creek near the intersection of S.E. 56th Street and East Lake Sammanish Parkway, the new courthouse has been designed to incorporate both up-to-date security and court technology with a "user-friendly" atmosphere. Local architects Baylis Brand Wagner Architects, Inc. of Bellevue, in consultation with nationally recognized courthouse design expert Dan Wiley & Associates of North Palm Beach, Florida, are responsible for both exterior and interior elements of this building.

The courthouse features public art by well known Northwest artists Virginia Paquette, Phillip McCracken and the late William Ivie.

Issaquah Courthouse provides services to one of the largest areas of unincorporated King County as well as providing court services to the City of Sammamish.

As a Court of Limited Jurisdiction, the Issaquah Courthouse handles misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors, infractions, civil and small claims cases, lien foreclosures, vehicle tow cases, false alarms, name changes, anti-harassment and domestic violence protection orders and began issuing passports in 1998. The Issaquah Courthouse processes over 17,000 cases a year.

Eastbound I-90: Take Exit 15. Exit to the left. Bear right onto NW Sammamish Road. Turn left on 220th Avenue S.E.. The Facility is the first building on the left.
