The East Division has six judges elected to serve the area. They are: Judge Janet Garrow, Judge Linda Jacke; Judge Frank V. La Salata; Judge Peter Nault; Judge Douglas Smith; and Judge David Steiner, Division Presiding Judge.

In 2005, the Division disposed over 45,000 cases, including 33,000 traffic infractions, 5,000 misdemeanors, and 1,700 civil claims. In 2003, the East Division formed a civil court in the Issaquah Courthouse. All civil and small claims actions which previously were filed in the Bellevue and Redmond Courthouses are now filed and heard in Issaquah.
