Warrants can be issued in any division of the King County District Court. If you know that a warrant has been issued for your arrest and you wish to take care of it, follow the procedures below for the division where the case has been filed. In all cases, you must appear in person to take care of the warrant. This cannot be done over the telephone.

DivisionWarrant (Walk-in) Procedures
Kent Courthouse All criminal warrants with the exception of the old City of Federal Way and the City of Covington warrants, are now handled at the Burien Courthouse. Defendants with outstanding warrants from the City of Covington or City of Federal Way where the cases are filed with the district court, must appear in person at Kent during regular business hours Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). In cases where the warrant is under $2,000, the defendant must sign a personal recognizance form and a new date will be given to the defendant. In cases where the warrant is over $2,000, the defendant must see a judge on the day the defendant appears.
Bellevue Courthouse A warrant walk-in calendar for the Bellevue Courthouse is scheduled for Tuesday mornings. To be included on the calendar, individuals must appear in person no later than 3:00 p.m. the day before. Anyone appearing later than 3:00 p.m. will be placed on the calendar the following week. Beginning October 4, 2005, the warrant walk in calendar will be every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., except the 3rd week of the month. The cut off to be included on the Tuesday calendar is 1:00 p.m. on Monday (the day before).
Issaquah Courthouse Warrant walk-in calendars are every Friday morning. Defendants must check in at the front counter at 9:00 a.m.
Redmond Courthouse The Warrant Walk-In calendar is heard on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the Redmond Courthouse. Persons interested in appearing must come to the court between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday to sign up for the calendar.
Seattle Courthouse

Warrant walk-in calendars are held daily at 1:30 p.m. The defendant must appear at the clerk’s office (E-327) prior to 11:00 a.m. to be heard the same day.

Felony expedited warrants are not quashed on a bench warrant calendar. The defendant must appear at the clerk’s office (E-327) for a new court date. The warrant will remain outstanding and will be addressed when the defendant appears at his/her hearing.

Shoreline Courthouse There is no regularly scheduled warrant walk-in calendar. Persons with warrants from the Shoreline Courthouse, should appear in person to sign up for the next available court date.
Burien Courthouse Individuals with State or County cases filed in Burien Courthouse with outstanding warrants, wishing to be heard on a warrant walk-in calendar must apply in person at the division during normal working hours. Upon review of the case, a hearing will be scheduled. City of Burien warrant walk-ins are held each Tuesday. The first five people appearing will be included on this calendar, you must appear in person no later than 9:00 a.m.. For warrants issued by the now closed Renton Division, please follow the instructions for State or County warrants as indicated above.
Mental Health Court Persons with a warrant issued through the King County District Court Mental Health Court must contact their Public Defender or Probation Officer.        
Maleng Regional Justice Center - DV CourtDefendants are to appear at the front counter in room GD during business hour. Defendants must appear by noon on Thursday to be calendared for the MRJC Friday 10:30 a.m. bench warrant calendar. Defendants are screened by OPD before leaving the courthouse.
