Request and purchase documents via the Electronic Records Request Application
The only records that are not subject to public inspection are those sealed by court order, protected by court rules, the Revised Code of Washington and the Washington Administrative Code.
You must create an account to use this feature. An e-mail address is required. Please write your account ID and Password down and save it for future reference.
Copy Types: Certified, Exemplified, and plain copies.
Research Request : If you do not know your case number a $30.00 fee will be charged. The clerk will search our records for your case number. You must provide the following:
- Approximate year the case was filed
- The name of a least one party in the case
- The case type (criminal, civil, domestic (divorce, etc.)probate or guardianship)
Copy Request : If you have your case number and your case was filed since January 1, 2000 you will be able to select from a list of documents to purchase.
Page Count : A page count is required for all requests where you supply the case number and the case was initiated prior to January 1, 2000. You must indicate which document you wish to receive a page count. Once you receive notification via e-mail of your page count the system will redirect you to purchase copies.
**New** Agencies may now pay by voucher.
