E-Filing: Ex Parte via the Clerk Welcome to E-Ex Parte via the Clerk. Matters to be submitted to the King County Ex Parte and Probate Department, via the Clerk, may be submitted for presentation either electronically or in hard copy. You can get to the E-Ex Parte via the Clerk component of the E-Filing application from your E-Filing Confirmation Receipt after filing into an existing case or from the My Cases>Status tab on the home page when initiating a new case, or within 30 days of filing a document into an existing case.

The E-filing application requires that you e-file a document prior to uploading your proposed order for submission to the Ex Parte department. Please do not e-file proposed orders as stand-alone documents. If you are presenting only a proposed order and have no other documents to e-file, you may file a Notice of Presentation to Ex Parte prior to submitting your proposed order through the E-Ex Parte via the Clerk component of e-filing. Ex Parte Motions and Hearings Manual is Available. The following documents are available at the links below: Ex Parte Procedure Changes and Emergency Changes to the Local Rules in Effect January 1, 2009. Many items that previously may have been presented either to an assigned judge or to the Ex Parte and Probate Department will now be required to be presented by the Clerk, to the Ex Parte and Probate Department.
