King County Women’s Program Information

The Domestic Violence Information Pages were derived from the Domestic Violence Information Line, a telephone information service at (206) 205-5555. The Information Line was a creation of the "Love Shouldn't Hurt" Campaign, a King County (Washington) region-wide public education campaign that was undertaken in 1994. The goal of "Love Shouldn't Hurt" is domestic and dating violence prevention. The "Love Shouldn't Hurt" Campaign was a collaborative effort involving domestic violence victim service agencies, perpetrator treatment professionals, King County government, the City of Seattle, and individuals in the community.

The Domestic Violence Information Line is available 24 hours a day at (206) 205-5555. A touch-tone phone is required to access the information items.
