Council
Regular meetings of the full Metropolitan King County Council are held Mondays at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the 10th floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 Third Avenue between James and Jefferson in Seattle.

Committees 
The County Council functions through the work of its standing committees and regional committees, which scrutinize proposed legislation for consideration by the full Council.
