Capital Budget Committee

The Council's Capital Budget Committee reviews capital improvement proposals and programs, including financial plans, revenues and expenditures. It oversees capital projects, reviews and considers the sale and lease of real property, and considers and makes recommendations on capital budget appropriations and on debt and investment proposals, levies, fees and taxes relating to capital expenditures.

The Auditor's office reports to this committee when performing its oversight of large capital construction proposals, in accordance with the 2007 King County Budget.
